Do you take insurance?Yes! I’m in-network with Cigna, Aetna, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, Quest Behavioral Health, Carelon Behavioral Health, Oxford, United Healthcare, and Oscar. If you’d like to confirm your coverage or have any questions about using insurance for therapy, feel free to reach out—I’m happy to help!

What if I don’t have insurance, or my insurance doesn’t cover therapy (or you’re not in-network)?If your insurance doesn’t cover therapy, or I’m not in-network, you still have options! I offer private pay rates and can provide a superbill if you have out-of-network benefits, which may allow you to get reimbursed. If cost is a concern, let’s talk—I may have sliding scale spots available or be able to help you find other resources that fit your needs.
-
Do you offer in-person or virtual sessions? At this time, I only offer virtual sessions.

I’m not sure about virtual therapy—how does teletherapy work, and will it still feel like real therapy? (copy)Teletherapy works just like in-person therapy, but from the comfort of your own space. We meet through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform, so all you need is a private spot, a stable internet connection, and a device with a camera. Many clients find teletherapy just as effective—if not more—because it’s convenient, flexible, and allows you to show up as you are, without the stress of commuting. If you’re unsure, I encourage you to give it a try—therapy should fit into your life, not add to your stress.
-
Number of sessions I can expect?Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, so the number of sessions varies for each person. While many of my clients seek longer-term support, I tailor treatment to your unique needs, goals, and pace—whether it's short-term guidance or deeper, ongoing work. We can discuss your individual treatment plan together to find what works best for you.
-
What if I am feeling nervous about starting therapy, or I'm not sure I am ready to start? That's completely okay—feeling nervous about starting therapy is completely normal. It’s a new experience, and opening up can feel intimidating. But therapy isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about figuring things out at your own pace. If you’re unsure, start with a free 15-minute consultation to see how it feels. No pressure, no commitment—just a chance to take that first step.
-
Will you just listen, or do you give advice?I do more than just listen—I actively engage in the conversation. My approach is direct, honest, and tailored to what you need. I’ll challenge unhelpful patterns, offer new perspectives, and provide practical tools to help you move forward. Therapy isn’t about me telling you what to do, but I won’t leave you feeling like you’re figuring it all out alone.
-
Can I stop therapy at any time?Yes! Therapy is your journey, and you’re in control of the process. You can stop at any time—whether you feel you’ve met your goals, need a break, or decide it’s not the right fit. My goal is to help you feel empowered, not stuck. If you’re considering ending therapy, we can talk about how to transition smoothly and make sure you feel supported moving forward.
